Örbyhus Castle is situated in northern Uppland, 45 kilometres from Uppsala. Örbyhus Castle played a part in the Swedish national history in 1577 when it served as the prison for the dethroned King Erik XIV. It was here that he died under mysterious circumstances. Was he poisened?
